By car

Visitors can use a number of public car parks, including Back Lane, Old Ship Lane and the Freight House.

While the purchase of a ticket using cash is possible, it is strongly advised that the PayByPhone payment option is used. If you haven’t already registered, full information is displayed on the machines and noticeboards. To save time, please register on-line before your visit.

By rail

Rochford is served by a station on the Southend Victoria to London Liverpool Street line. During non-peak times, this is served by a regular 20 minute service in each direction. Rochford station is located in the town centre.

By bus

By bus, Rochford town centre is served by the following regular services

  • Arriva Service 7: Rayleigh to Shoeburyness (Via Hockley, Rochford and central Southend)

  • Arriva Service 8: Rayleigh to Shoeburyness (Via Hockley, Rochford and central Southend)

  • Stephensons Service 60: Southend-on-Sea to Ballards Gore (via Rochford, Great Stambridge and Paglesham)
